Add a Comment“Savages” has a promising beginning and interesting enough characters but, in the end, it resorts to the same old formula as other movies of its kind.
I'm surprised at all the negative comments. I found the movie to be a high-octane testosterone thrill ride and I loved the ending. Good story line and acting.
Skip it. Del Toro was good, the rest of it was dreadful. It's unfortunate, because Stone is clearly a guy who knows what he's doing and has all the tools, he just hasn't put them to any good use in making this film.
Ending was dumb.
Worst part is the ending and nothing ever really pays off
The 1st 15 minutes were awful; then I quit.
I liked the MMF dynamic (although I could have used more relationship building) and I liked that the boss of the cartel was a woman. I usually love Aaron Johnson, but he seemed to flounder in this movie. It was okay, but entirely forgettable.
Rubbish movie.
This movie was awful. I didn't expect it to be great but I didn't expect it to be so terrible either. It was extremely unrealistic. The over the top acting was driving me crazy. After about 30 minutes I was so bored. I couldn't wait till it went off. It didn't even have any action what kind of drug movie doesn't have action. Oh wait they give you a little snippet of some action. What a disappoint.
Theres a fine line between reality & fantasy, its hard to discern which is which, in this film?
