Young Raven: You're not scared of me? Charles Xavier: I always believed I couldn't be the only one in the world. The only person in the world who was different. And here you are. Charles Xavier. Young Raven: Raven. Charles Xavier: You're hungry and alone. Take whatever you want. We've got lots of food. You don't have to steal. In fact, you never have to steal again.

Add a CommentA beautiful movie indeed. It was very funny and at times predictable. I enjoyed this very much
sci-fi - I think this is the best X yet. It was nice to get some history on them and put pieces together.
A must watch if you are an X-man fan. I enjoyed it more than the first x-men movie and probably as much as I enjoyed the second one. It's well done for an origin story, particularly for Magneto and Xavier. I like that you see Xavier's arrogance and mistakes, and that Magneto is given full shrift. The Xavier Magneto friendship isn't fully developed but enough of it is there to show the tragedy of their inevitable confrontation. I enjoyed it very much.
It was O.K for a home TV movie. I was entertained and interesting. But it was NOT worth the long library wait or the price to rent from a Red Box. B+ DVD
"X" tremely poorly executed. This is the worst X Men movie out there, you think it is going to be one way and it just sucks. January Jones basically had no purpose for being in the movie, there were major plot holes some so large you could fly the x jet through them. Characters were oddly recreated and recreated in the wrong fashion ie the take off on nightcrawler making him red and calling him Azzazel. The whole thing was just wrong.
Entertaining superhero action movie. Sort of does its own take on the origin of the x-men. As a huge comic book nerd I sort of hate it when they don't stick to the actual story. I had the same issue with the Wolverine movie. However, this movie was visually stunning and entertaining. The acting was decent. I would have liked it less just based on the story, but they did a very good job with their version.
um i'm pretty sure this is better than the first one X-Men Origins.
Thoroughly entertaining. They throw everything at you, possibly realizing this is the only time they could get this many big name actors aligned on this movie ever again. It was one of the better Marvel movies. It did have its plot-holes, but you aren't watching Marvel for its oscar-worthy performances. McAvoy and Fessbender worked well off each other. I loved that they were the funniest and most engaging characters on the screen without resorting to having to use their shining star Hugh Jackman (who does make a brief cameo, but I am glad didn't overshadow this movie). Fessbender's Magneto, like Sir Ian's was amazing. Just see it for that performance alone.
much better than i originial thought
Surprisingly, an interesting and compelling story with more to offer than just special effects and super powers. Kevin Bacon is a fantastic villain and centering the story around the Bay of Pigs gives the movie a much bigger feel than expected.
