Add a CommentDespite Johnny Depp's voice and a chameleon (I love those creatures), this film fell really flat for me early on. I didn't care for it.
Very funny...great for all ages.I would watch it again:)
This movie was ok. I wish I would have screened it before my young children watched it. Some of the humor was quite crude.
Funny and well-done animated film. A true venture into the desert horizons. Deals with tropes very well and, at times, one has to question who the humour is really for: the oddball yet unconventionally depicted (no pretty colours here, kids!) don't suit the children's tastes and jokes here and there may well fly right over the kids' heads and hit the adults smack dab in the face. Only complaint would be that the first few minutes (right after he meets his roadkill friend and meets his obvious love interest) might be a tad disorienting and offer a smidgeon of confusion to those who don't already know the premise; just ride those few minutes out and it'll certainly pay off, I promise. That note aside, the Oscar was well-deserved. Recommended (for everyone).
desert characters, action-drama, coming into one's self and such, lot's of antic's and fun-entertainment.
Looked very realistic(great visuals) and my family and I enjoyed it very much, it was awesome and spectacular it won best animated movie of 2012 at the Oscars as well.
I really liked this movie. Seemed like a take-off of Chinatown to me, a bit. Over all, very enjoyable for the whole family.
I like kids movies but this didnt do anything for me at all. I quit watching a quarter of the way through.
Loved it! Really funny and enjoyable, I would watch it again :)!
I really expected more from this movie...
