Boring, boring, boring. I nearly fell asleep, so I shut it off and didn't bother finishing it.
I don't usually rate movies, but I really enjoyed this one! Of course, to look at Matthew McConaughey is never a hardship, but the story was a good one, it was suspenseful and all the acting was really well done. Highly recommend it
Very good movie. Nice story line with good suspense and twists. Some how I compare this with movie 'The Firm'
interesting suspence triller movie, with unexpected twists thrown in to try to keep you on your toes
McConaughey is Haller, a sleaze-bag lawyer who only defends criminals—and proud of it! His friend and helper is a disheveled, dirty/hippie-looking guy. SPOILER: Haller lands a big client—clean-looking white boy—who is accused of a crime he denies. Predictably, the client ends up being the bad guy, who belittles homosexuals… Yawn!
Deflinitely a B movie, but entertaining enough.
like all grishim stories, very good and mcconaughey does a real good job with the lead.
The acting is great in this movie and it appears to be heading in one direction in the beginning, but takes a turn into a great dramatic film.
Very good movie. I was surprised. I'm not a big fan of Matthew Mcconaughey. but he was good and it was and interesting story. Good for both guys and gals!
